Abstract:
This paper examines the notion of control in its hermeneutic potential to analyse shifts in the contemporary diagram of power. The path chosen to problematize this notion involves a Foucaultian reading passing through the critical gesture by a critical ontology of present time, focusing on a diagnostics which inform such a notion and its contrast to contemporary ways of governmentality. As a conclusion, Deleuze and his receivers’s proposal is unfinished, therefore it is needed to link it to a strategic scale of analysis involving neoliberal government practices beyong their technical arrangements, looking to differential control criteria informing contemporary ways of life management in our societies.
