Abstract:
Reviewing our theoretical grounds may help disassociate ourselves from the conceptual boundaries that end up conditioning and reproducing hegemonic ideological representations of power. This paper intends to challenge the terms that inform the notion of power and the imaginary grounds that have traditionally been used when analysing them; and to come closer to proposals that provide alternatives to build new thinking systems upon which new fields of analysis and reflection are opened for formulations and interventions in the field of social action, and which allow to make visible outshined forms of distributing authority that are present in Latin American socio-cultural diversity.
Keywords: Power, social action, deconstruction, ideological representations, the politically thinkable.
