Abstract:
This article argues that security is the factor that has the greatest weight in a population displaced by violence in the moment of taking the decision to remain in the place of arrival, even if the social, physical or economical circumstances are adversarial. This has to do with the social representation that this population constructs around the return and the undeletable impressions that displacement leaves. The analysis of information revolved around the events prior y during the displacement, arrival and organization in the city.
Keywords: Forced displacement, social representation, return, subjective construction in a context of armed conflict.
