Abstract:

This article is about the emergence of practices such as the Capoeira Angola, which propose a scenario for collective political experimentation about the own self, as a particular “other” technology of decolonialization of subjectivity, aimed at the re-enchantment and aethetization of everyday life. The author assumes, from a hierarchical perspective of power, that this type of practices suspends the structure of mechanisms that generate the capture of subjectivity as the articulating axis of the coloniality of the being in the framework of asymmetries of power of modernity/coloniality.

Keywords: capoeira angola, corporality, coloniality of the being, hierarchy of power, aesthetics of re(ex)sistencia.
